CH NORWATCH BROCK BUSTER
29 CCs, 22 RCCs, 3 Working Groups (Leicester 1982, Richmond & Driffield 1983)
When we mated Mustang Wine to Night Rider we hoped for a 'big brindle male'. She gave us everything we wished for and more in 'Buster' with the added bonus of his beautiful red brother Ch. Glory Boy who was sold to Barbara and Philip Greenway.
These two attracted a lot of attention when they hit the ring in 1981 and changed places on many occasions during their show careers.
Buster won his first
RCC at the tender age of 13 months from Sid Reilly and his first CC at
18 months under Angela Kennett at the Scottish Boxer Club with Glory Boy
Reserve to him. The second quickly followed from Valerie Tripe at the
Mancunian and he gained his title within 6 weeks under the world renowned
He went on to be one of the top winning Boxers ever, in fact only 6 have ever won more CCs than Buster. Over the next 3 years he continued to win at top level and was Top Boxer in 1982 and 1983, winning three Working Groups along the way. He was a great showman and never let us down once.
Buster sired 3 champions, Ch. Wrencliff Flying Scotchman of Winuwuk, Ch. Jenroy Lot Less Bother and Ch. Sheffordian Ruby Tuesday of Norwatch and is the start of our Seven Generations of Champions in a direct line. He was Runner-up British Boxer Club Sire of Merit in 1987 with five progeny winning 6CCs and 7 RCCs.
He was quite a character,
he loved small, fluffy canines and never missed an opportunity to pounce
on one given the chance. However, once he had them in his grasp he wasnt
quite sure what to do with them! Ladies carrying
